Just another Halsey song, but hey it's about empowerment & being nice, so there's that.
GENRE: POP / EDM POP
RELEASE DATE: 6 MAY 2020
There are things in this world that have been a popular constant recently. One of which is the inevitable collaboration between Marshmello and big pop stars. In addition to the American DJ’s repertoire with artists like Chvrches and Bastille, Halsey seems like a sure thing considering she’s expressed a clear interest to work with him. The end product? Another typical Halsey cut. The vocal performance on the track is beautiful and it’s pretty heartwarming, lyrically. Amidst all the evils spilling out from hell’s proverbial maw right now, it’s a good ole hug in song form. Everything else about this song though is still pretty middle-of-the-road, but honestly not one of the worst Halsey songs in her discography.
Halsey's album Manic was released in January this year.
